ANNOUNCEMENT: IBC Garage Sale! Saturday, August 23 at IBC Imagine if each IBC member donated even just 5 items to the IBC garage sale, what a success it could be! Please keep in mind the saying that One mans trash is another mans treasure. As many of you know, popular items include tools, baby stuff, dishes, glassware, jewelry, art, toys, games, furniture, sporting equipment, bicycles, electronics, childrens books, gardening equipment, etc. IBC has a great location for this type of event, and when we have had a lot of items for sale, it has been a great fundraiser for the center. Also, IBC will be selling some old appliances, including potentially an old lawnmower, air conditioner, refrigerator, etc. So you may find a good fixer-upper yourself. So please join us on August 23 at IBC for the big event! Tentative hours are 8 AM to 2 PM on the IBC lawn near the mandala garden. Technically, this is a yard sale and so it is scheduled weather permitting. Contact Laurie Smith at [email protected] if you can help the day of the sale, with promotions, or with donations. If you have donations, they may be dropped off at the center by appointment or during a regularly scheduled IBC activity or event. Thank you for your support!
