ANNOUNCEMENT: In the coming very few days we will be rolling out a Lava Disaster Relief volunteer matching system housed on the Hawaii Island United Way website. A streamlined system using our software will allow volunteers to be matched with organizations needing help to serve our community in this time of need. Volunteers will be able to choose areas of need that best suit their abilities and schedules, and agencies will be able to post their needs quickly and also find volunteers. ****Please watch this space for more information*** Note: Even small companies will be able to log on and post, for example a food distribution or other kind of need for volunteers. It will not be limited to existing partner agencies.
