ANNOUNCEMENT: Please rest assured the VBAC Facts Community is not going anywhere, but bear with us as we re-organize. Unfortunately, someone in our group violated the privacy of multiple members by taking screenshots of group posts and sharing them with a blogger who published them online. Our group is intended to be a safe and supportive place where we have high standards of evidence and ethics, and respect each other’s private decisions about birth. We could not permit the group to move forward with this kind of unethical and malicious behavior. We had to take immediate action and apologize for removing people without notice. Our best solution was to remove all existing members that admins do not know personally. Future memberships will be based on referral of current members. Many people will be included, but many people won’t. I feel awful that we have to implement this policy, but it’s the only way I can see that we preserve the integrity of the group. If anyone has any better ideas about a system of screening or moderation that would be a good alternative, please send me a PM. We are doing our best and ask you to please be patient with us as this all shakes out. We are currently accepting new members via referral of current members. It will take a while to process new members. Again, the VBAC Facts Community is not going anywhere.
