ANNOUNCEMENTS for the bulletin of March 9th A.D. 2014 Thank you to all parishioners for the Sunday’s offering of March 2nd during the Divine Liturgies as well as afterwards from the kitchen hospitality corner in sum of $1314. I encourage all of you to your personal and common prayers for Ukraine. Thank you to all parishioners who turn to Ms. Oksana Piasecka and volunteer to organize Sunday’s hospitality/kitchen corner in our parish hall. Your sacrifice and preparation of tasty snacks will be a very valuable support for our Church and organization of parish life. Thanks to Ms. Oksana Kos last Sunday we collected additional $145 for our church needs. During Great Lent we are called to fast, prayer and doing good deeds for living and the departed. That is why in this holy season we have a tradition of Lenten Commemorative Liturgies called Sorokousty. It is a special occasion for our mercy toward our beloved deceased. Next Saturday, March 15th, at 7 PM we will have a Sorokousty Service. It will be also an occasion for Holy Reconciliation. Please prepare the list with the names of your deceased family members for commemoration at the Divine Liturgy and Panakhyda. Please speak to Father Andrii if there is a need for a visit with Holy Mysteries and spiritual support for the sick or lonely parishioners and address any spiritual needs. Father is at your service for Holy Reconciliation before or after Divine Liturgies and in any other time you need it.
