ANNOUNCING 2014s Volunteer of the Year Winners!! Congratulations to the following volunteers for their amazing service to ASAP this year! Winners: Lisa Mathiasen Barbara Ceriale Donna Peterson Mary Scott Beth Rushing Sara Schmidhauser (pictured wearing cat ears) Other nominees: Shayna Ingram Marie Maschal Susan Hamilton Jody Rundle Pat Coppejans Gina Sunseri James (Ty) Tharp Jolinda Rockwell Ellen Pauley All of the winners received a framed certificate and a special custom made cutting board with Basil engraved on it. All nominees were recommended by fellow volunteers and our small staff, and the winners were announced at our recent all-volunteer annual BBQ. The nominees and winners include longtime volunteers, newer volunteers, shift lead volunteers, program directors, veterinary care volunteers, jack-of-all-trade volunteers and foster volunteers (many can claim multiple hats!!). It should also be noted that two of ASAPs extremely hard working volunteer Board members--Rhonda Douglass and Kaitlyn Stewart--were also nominated. Thank you to ALL of our volunteers for their hard work and dedication!
