Carol Goldwasser is an independent casting director who has worked in casting for over twenty years in Los Angeles and New York. She cast TV series “Hannah Montana,” “Austin & Ally” and “Dog with a Blog” for Disney Channel, “I’m in the Band” for Disney XD, “Out of Jimmy’s Head” for Cartoon Network, and “The Hughleys” for UPN. Movies for television include “Good Luck Charlie: It’s Christmas!” for Disney Channel and “The Boy Who Cried Werewolf” for Nickelodeon. Carol consulted on casting for the feature film “Diary of a Wimpy Kid.” Her work on pilots includes “Big Time Rush” and “The Troop” for Nickelodeon, “American Dad” for FOX and “Inside Schwartz” for NBC. She recently cast “Standing on Ceremony: The Gay Marriage Plays,” which was the recipient of the Los Angeles Drama Critics Circle Award in 2012 for Unique Theatrical Event. Carol has held executive positions at Disney/Touchstone Television, The Greenblatt Janollari Studio, and Big Ticket Television. She’s had the pleasure of working with some of television’s top writer/producers, including Steven Peterman, Michael Poryes, Mark Brazill, Michael B. Kaplan, Kevin Kopelow & Heath Seifert, Bob Odenkirk, Seth MacFarlane, and Joel Surnow. She is the recipient of two Casting Society of America Artios Awards for outstanding achievement in children’s television casting for “Hannah Montana,” and in 2013 was nominated by the Talent Managers Association for Television Casting Director of the year.
