ANNUAL NATIVITY DISPLAY: The Sisters of the Humility of Mary are extending an invitation to parishioners and friends to their eighth annual Nativity Display at Villa Maria Community Center on Evergeen Road, Villa Maria, Pa. The free, indoor exhibit featuring hundreds of Nativities from around the world, is scheduled from noon to 5 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 30, Sunday, Dec. 1 and Dec. 7 and 8. Free-will offerings will be accepted. Musical entertainment will also be featured, the Villa Shoppe will be open and offers a variety of items including Fair Trade items and the Villa Farms homegrown poinsettias and Christmas wreaths and swags will be available for purchase. Free, light refreshments will be served both weekends. A full-course roast beef dinner will be served from noon to 4 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 1 with tickets costing $10 for a large meal and $6 for a small dinner. On Dec. 8 a spaghetti dinner will be served from noon to 4 p.m. with tickets costing $7 for a large meal and $6 for a smaller portion. Children 7 and younger are served free of charge and take-out will be available. Dinner tickets can be purchased at the door or in advance by calling 724-964-8920, ext. 3348.
