ANOINTED TO GIVE(By apostle paul JOHNSON asaMOAH) When talking about anointed to give, it is a kind of spirit given to believers in the entire world to have it. Having is to support the investment in order for the kingdom to reach afar without God giving it to you, hardly for you to have it ,to this very moment, it is my prayer and hope that the message will turn somebody’s perspective in the lord. Now let’s go back to the bible, first to start with Jesus , the bible said in the book of acts 10:38,’’how God anointed Jesus with the holy ghost and with power, who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him.’’ When we talk about anointed to give, it is not only just to give money alone but yourself to the mission God has given you to do. What are you called to do and you are not doing. If you are anointed to do it, you’ll start doing it without stopping. Why anointed to give? Taking it from the content of Jesus, God said, He has anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power. If you are anointed, you’ll do good. If you are anointed, you’ll heal. If you are anointed, you’ll deliver people from obstacles. If you are anointed, God will be with you. If you are anointed, there is no way you’ll lack; lacking will not be your portion. Anointed person is someone added with God’s present spirit to operate in God’s realm only. The word anointed means Christ, Christ means anointed one, so therefore there is a spirit in Christ that covered you to be able to do things that without him you cannot do so if God said ‘’you are anointed to give, you can’t give and stop, if you are anointed to heal, preach, sing or deliver, you cannot do these things and stop, you cannot do the will of God and stop. Even if you don’t have the money or skills to do you still press on to do it, because the bible said it clearly in John 13:5 ,’’for without me, you can’t do nothing.’’ Philippians 4:13 ‘’I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.’’ When you are anointed, you can do it and it will not end. There is a difference between anointing and anointed. Anointed: let’s now enter into the bible commentary by Matthew Henry’s and break some words within that. Jesus being on earth was a beneficial to all mankind because of the spirit of oil within which I call ‘’anointed to give’’ He is having an anointed life with him. Let me ask you, what is the oil within you? If your life is anointed with life, you renew your faith, you enhance your spirit and empower your life and you live life for God, that means live the anointed life. It stops sin, it stops fear, it gives you spirit of forgiveness, it gives you genueness, Christ likeness, answers to the world, that is why Jesus, the bible said he went out to look for doing good to the public (not one person). I don’t think any Christian can reach to where the lord Jesus got to before he left the earth but with the help from Him, we will be able to accomplish the same tasks without doubts. when you are anointed, you live a real life as Christ, your answers are real, there is nothing like failure, you have the power for living the anointed life for Christ on standing on the truth (God’s words) you can move forward with confidence and serve God with joy, having also heavenly wisdom, real peace, joy, overwhelmed by all obstacles in life, you have enough faith to flow with at all times, your whole life is about depending on God alone. Now concerning, what the commentary stated on the behalf of Jesus Christ. When you are anointed, you don’t hunt, trouble or confuse people, you rather take people from hell to heaven that is why there is a difference between anointing and anointed. Most Christians aren’t anointed but they use anointed. The end result of anointing is anointed and I prophecy at this very moment, a person reading this as a commission from above will be anointed because anointed is Christ spirit within human to operate 100% within this very planet, Christ didn’t operate 99% he operated 100% we should do the same before calling ourselves anointed. Now you are anointed to give, you can’t stop giving because you are full in him. let me give an illustration by my spiritual father in the lord whom God has called, even been, Kenneth hagin, this man that I’m about to mention his name went to a place(somewhere in Africa) , people were dying by heart but this man didn’t, so they called in a doctor for him to ask him what he had been protecting himself with, he He replied ‘’I believe in the law of the spirit in Christ has set me free from the law of sin and death. and as long as we walk in the light of that law of life, no germ will attach itself to me’’ even doctors had no solution to the problem, but the anointed man (dr. John) was able identify the problem to the doctors, the reason why some of you are still going through what you’re going through, switching from one church to the other as a Christian is because you are not anointed. If this man wasn’t anointed he would have died out of the same sickness with the people during his mission. When you are anointed, you don’t die like a dog, all anointed people have a set time, and God will call them home at the appropriate time. Poverty, Juju, sickness cannot call them home. As we came out with a content from Dr. John Lake, he said ‘’ the spirit of life in Christ’’ that is the anointed one, the spirit of life in Christ, when it is within you, germs, poverty can’t control you. How many problems have you solved so far since you were born? Were you able to solve your problems in your home, company? What about your nation, your community? If you haven’t been able to solve them neither will you be able to solve others. See yourself as a problem solver, if you have any financial problem, you may have a serious problem with giving. When talking about the real anointed giver, NUMBER ONE is God! ‘’for God so loved the world that He gave His ONLY begotten son….’’ John 3:16. God himself was anointed to give, are you also anointed to give? Or you have the oil but not anointed. ‘’anointed’’ supersedes anointing, it never dries! Unlike the oil, the spirit cannot dry out, it stays forever! The bible says in Isaiah 1:19 ‘’if you are willing and obedient you will eat the best from the land’’. It’s all about obedience when you are anointed in God’s word, good things will be yours and you will also apply with good things; exactly what Jesus did, here by, he showed that he was sent from God, who left not himself without witnesses for the lord, and that he did good, because goodness was with his spirit, so therefore we are anointed to give or to offer where the spirit is leading us. Do you also have a spirit of witness? Then learn from Christ, when God anointed Him with the holy ghost and with power he was both authorized and be enabled to do what he did by ‘’divine authority’’ since he was called Christ the messiah-anointed one, he was not half-God, he was fully a man and did everything fully not half. Because he was anointed, he did all service to mankind and victory was assured unto his ministry, it was much more significance of a blessing not shortened blessings but everlasting blessing in the ministry, the same way we are also commissioned as an anointed one to give, the seal of a divine nation will be upon us. Also, workout miracles than what we see today, before I continue, let me share my personal testimony. I happened to be in a place where everyone was seriously sick in that community and nothing happened to me even though I lived with them. I learnt they had an idol that causes them to fall sick in order for them to serve him, this idol’s name was ‘’kpakpakli’’, he kills anyone who refuses to worship him-more reason why he gives out deadly illness. I was on mission then, announcing to the whole community, I said ‘’anyone who will hear my message and accepts Christ as his lord and personal savior will be cured of his illness(saved) ‘’, and by the grace of God, all who accepted Christ through my ministration was saved and set free. Glory and honour be to God! Within my other mission too at kikam, similar problems were facing the people over there, God used me to solve those problems and turned lives to him for His glory. So because, I’m anointed (by the grace of God), i set lives free and out of oppression like what Jesus did in acts and others. The bible says, peter was anointed and that his shadow even shook people, May you be anointed to set people free! You can do anything you are anointed to do! Are you anointed to give? Are you anointed to heal? Are you anointed to deliver people? Jesus Christ was anointed to set captives free, what about you? Look! It is not the time to ask how it is going to be, one time someone asked me ‘’what will be the results of the electoral petition in Ghana?’’ my reply was ‘’ the results will be similar to what has already been declared’’, by the grace of God, what I said came to pass. You need anointing in your life! Kenneth Hagen, wrote a book ‘’in him’’ about been anointed, have you deposited your bank today? What about your personal life? What is in your personal life, is it of the word of God or of the world, the bible says examine yourself to see whether you are in faith or not, the level of your spiritual understanding in this world is what you will use to solve all problems depending on the amount of God’s word inside you, this will determine the number of problems you will solve, less the words, less the problems you will solve. There are a lot of leaders in this 21st century who are going through tough time; they have been captured by spiritual forces (diseases) so they can’t function well as God wants them to. Very much like a farmer going to a farm without a cutlass or farm tools, what is he going to do! A student writing an exam without a pen, what will he or she be writing! Brother! Be anointed wherever you are and it is my prayer that all people in Christ Jesus be anointed, and just keep in mind that ‘’tough time never lasts but tough people lasts’’ by Robert scholar. Let me take you to a formula I worked, the seed line narrow to the descendent of David. Abraham - Isaac - Jacob - Judah - David – seed. who is that seed? The seed stands for the word of God, who is that word? Jesus, who is Jesus? Salvation, and salvation into Christ the messiah and Christ is the ‘’anointed one’’ being talked about. When you are in that seed, you operate this way with spiritual blessings in Christ: 1. You have what we call, the spirit of forgiveness. Ephesians 1:7 2. You are redeemed. Colossians 1:14, Romans 3:24 3. You are a new creature, 2 Corinthians 5:17 4. You are a son of God. Galatians 3:26,27 5. You have eternal life 1 john 5:11 6. The seal of the spirit shall be in you. Ephesians 1:13 7. You are in the state of no condemnation .Romans 8:1 8. You are sanctified from sin. 1 Corinthians 1:2 9. You have salvation! 2 timothy 2:10 That is all, this can cause you to be loaded with the anointing, giving fully. Jesus Christ made a statement years ago, he said ‘’ spiritual blessings are more than physical blessings’’, so if you have spiritual blessings it will affect you physically. Spiritual problems are being solved by spiritual people and carnal problems are also being solved by carnal people, I will be enhancing this in one of my books called ‘’anointing to solve problems’’. Brethren, help to get to where God wants you to be, we are to take people from where they are to another level that is what God is aiming at. We are anointed as children of God to give than the number of times we think, because we have been given the mindset of God, until you have the mind of Christ you can’t give! One time the lord revealed to me in Philippians 2:4 ‘’let the interest of others be more then your interest’’-think of others more than yourselves. My instruction from God was that at that time, because of that, my way of things changed! I do not know about others, glory to God! I came up with schools, orphanages, blessing people, etc. you can’t do this if you are not anointed. By the grace of God my messages have reached every country, be it in audio, video or in the form of writing. We are to obey the instructions given as a commission form above, let’s see what’s in the bible, Philippians 2:4, if the bible says let’s interest of others be yours then you shouldn’t exclude yourself, concentrate on it to take you afar. I can’t stop not fulfilling it! The mercies of God must work in me! Showing compassion to others, giving out to people, putting smiles on others faces, showing sympathy to others, causing others to prosper, by so doing we will have the mind of Christ, being like him, walking in the same spirit, glory and honour be unto God! As soon as I got the message from God, I responded to it immediately. Love and you shall be loved, be of one mind, agree to the great things of God and be united in the spirit. Now is the time to put on the habit of anointed-to-give, if you are anointed to give, you supply to all, how do you do it? Look up to people in ministries, link yourselves with them and when you cannot go any longer they will be there to help you move on. Glory to God! I, Apostle John Asamoah, thousands of people reach out to me every day from all around the world. My secretary once asked me a question ‘’how do you cope with all these people’’ I told her that because of the commission God has given me, that is how anyone who is prone to give reaches out to people regardless of their number. My anointed father, Jesus, reached out to thousands of people everyday during His ministry, John 17 says He left His power for all to continue and I see myself continuing it in Jesus’ name! The bible talks about the lives of people like Daniel-being anointed to give, Joseph-coming from a poor family, being sold but having the right spirit God changed the minds of his siblings for his glory, all because Joseph was anointed. This could be applied to you, I want to encourage you not to give up, never see yourself as failure, always see yourself on top-depending fully on God like Joseph, I hope you learnt something from the earlier quotations. You have to do some things before been blessed, the more you give the more doors will be opened to you. Every child being born into the world has his fingers closed, but with time they open up, this show how necessary it is for us to share, so everyone must have the spirit of sharing. God blessed Joseph not for selfish gains but for all, using it to enlarge the kingdom of God. There are others like Moses, who led the whole Israelites to freedom-being anointed to give; he offered his whole life leading them out of Egypt. Joshua-being anointed to give continued the ministry of Moses, people like Deborah, Esther, offered their lives for many to be saved. In the midst of challenges remember Naomi who almost lost all hopes but still endured till the end by having the confidence in herself that God is able to do. When you are anointed, even if you are dead, YOU ARE NOT DEAD! Because you have an everlasting seal that will take you to the heavenly realm. I see thousands of people, hearing and reading this message by the grace of God, being taken to heaven. May you be one in Jesus’ name! Take this opportunity to accept Christ as your savior if you haven’t, please say this prayer, ‘Jesus, have mercy on me, be my personal savior now and forever , I believe you came to die for my sins, I have accepted to be a Christian. Form today I repent my ways, add to me the spirit of anointed-to-give and to extend your ministry till the day we meet in heaven. Thank you, Jesus, for every opportunity in Jesus’ name.’ Hallelujah! You are now a born again, new creation-old things are passed away…brethren, you are now saved, find a believing-church to attend in order to grow in Christ. Stay blessed!
