ANOINTING WATER BREAKS THE CURSE OF KIDNAPPING Kidnappers had tormented Mr Chuks Okwuosa and his family for a long time. His senior brother, Sir Jeo Okwuosa, had been kidnapped twice and two members of the family had been killed. It had not only cost the family money through ransom but also dear lives. It was as if a curse had been placed on them. On one occasion, six armed men waylaid him and his family together with friends. They were dragged out of the car and imprisoned for eight days, and were only released after several millions of naira had been paid as ransom. It did not end there. The more time went on, the more kidnapping continued to rear its ugly head on the family. Utterly fed up, they decided to come to The SCOAN to seek the face of God and make Him their Protector and Defender. They received the Anointing Water and Anointing Stickers. When they got back, they began to minister it on them and their vehicles, asking God to protect them. They also placed the stickers on their cars. One evening, as he was driving home from work, a car overtook him and parked in front of his car with full lights on him. Five men armed with AK 47 rifles jumped out and surrounded his car. He knew the ugly episode was about to replay itself. They tried to force the door of the car open but could not succeed. In the midst of the confusion, he felt a force push him out of the car. The force was so strong that as the door flung open, it hit one of the kidnappers, giving him a chance to run for his life. Suddenly, he fell into a ditch full of water which turned out to be his appropriate hiding place destined by God. Neck-deep in the dirty water, he began to pray silently. The enraged kidnappers were looking for him; they even came to the edge of the ditch but could not detect him. They shot into the air to scare him from his hiding place. Frustrated, they abandoned the hunt and drove off in his car. Eventually, he pulled himself out of the ditch, drenched but unharmed and exceedingly grateful for miraculous escape. He felt something in his pocket and then the realisation hit him; it was the Anointing Water – God had saved him. The following morning, he received a call from the police that his car had been recovered in another location. The Anointing Stickers placed on the car would not allow it to remain in the hands of the assailants. He told the congregation, “I wish I had discovered The SCOAN a long time ago. Minister the Anointing Water every morning and be prayerful. If you are travelling by any means, including air and you realise you do not have the Anointing Water, it is better for you to just miss the flight”.
