ANONYMOUS; my five year old son is in the procedure of being assessed for autism and has been referred to cahms as they think from my reports school and previous nursery he is on the autism spectrum certain noise he cant handle puts his fingers in his ears gets really unsettled texture of food and certain smells he is sick and cant stand anyone being near him with them these are getting worse now he completely obsessed with minecraft and sonic he has been obsessed with sonic since the age of 2 his life is all around these and computer consoles but he had limited time on xbox/tablet has anyone got any advice or been through this although he is a very bright boy ahead educationally and well mannered his outburst are very hard to handle he has brothers and sister he hardly interacts with them i cant put him in time out as this make him a million times worse he shout screams most of they day lashes out at myself dad and siblings even to children at school these are becoming worse his teacher is fantastic and is trying to get someone with him at playtime as he struggles being in the playground in such a big ground and wants to jst be inside his classroom he doesnt deal with any crowds well and ppl just look and comment which makes me feel even more down as has anyone got any advice or suggestions i can try i have attend parent classes to see if i could pick up any ideas to help but i none these have helped i dont want his outburst becoming more and more aggressive tia x
