ANOTHER DAY, ANOTHER KITTEN SAVED Take a look at the darling little kitten volunteer Manuela Wroblewski rescued in Turkey today. Manuela spends many hours feeding and rescuing street animals each day, and today she found this kitten trapped and in very poor health. Just by chance I walked on a different sidewalk and I suddenly heard a most heartbreaking meowing, Manuela said. It came out of a small apartment complex which looked all empty to me. When I walked in, I heard a devastating meowing but despite it took me a bit until I found this kitten who stuck in this wooden piece of some fence on the ground and who was trapped with its little head. I had no choice but to break the trap by hurting my hand badly. The kitten was cold and shaking and wet as we had heavy rain all last night and on/off again today. I decided to just leave my trolley (full of food for street animals), to get a little blanked/basket in the next possible shop and to straight away take the kitten to the pet hospital by bus. After delivering the kitten to the vet for treatment, Manuela returned to her rounds, feeling weary and worried. Dr. Osman is an excellent veterinarian and will do everything he can for the kitten. We simply want to thank Manuela for her selfless devotion and to also thank all of you who help provide food & care for the animals here each and every month. And yes, spay & neuter for the homeless animals is carried out often. Were doing the best we can in a community where animals as widely regarded as trash. HarmonyFund.org
