ANOTHER IN A LONG LIST OF REASONS THAT PRO WRESTLING IS DEAD Okay... this was a few months ago, but it still applies. I was watching a little bit of wrestling on my cell yesterday, and the big deal at the time was the contract signing between Orton, and Daniel Bryan. So C.O.O, Hunter, who is overseeing this event, shortly after the signing, starts verbally abusing Bryan. After saying hell never be anything more than a b+ wrestler, that he,himself would never waste time with, he says Shawn Michaels (who was in the ring at this time) shouldnt havde wasted his time either, in training him. TRAINING HIM??? Hold the phone. What does HHH mean, train him? Now I like Shawn, but really? Yeah, Shawns Mr. Wrestlemania, the Show Stopper, The Heattbreak Kid, & so on. But trainer? U gotta be kidding me.I know hes been champ, several times, but as great as he was, Shawn was never a great wrestler. A great entertainer? Yes. A great wrestler? No. He would have had to struggle to become a fair wrestler. Now by contrast, Daniel is a technician. Bt all rights, he could have trained Shawn. The wwe propping Michaels up as a trainer to Bryan is laughable, but I guess when an empire runs out of ideas, u pimp the popularity angle.
