ANOTHER ONE OF CEDS MOVIE REVIEWS™////CAPTAIN AMERICA: THE WINTER SOLDIER.....As I always make sure to point out, Captain America is my least favorite Avenger. He just seems pointless and his story bores me. The first Captain film put me to sleep quicker than anything. Coming off of an excellent sequel for Thor, I was confident that this second outing for Captain would be much better. It is. Marvel is really finding its footing in this phase 2 period.....taking risks and raising stakes. The cast is given a huge boost with the presence of Robert Redford....also a great job by Sam Jackson. We see Captain, Widow, And Fury all get pushed further than before. The story is intricately rich with conflicts, twists, and Avenger 2/phase 3 set up(there is even a brief mention of Dr.Strange!) Mackie does a respectable job as Falcon. The Winter Soldier(Buckey) is an absolutely brutal power villain who makes the action scenes even better. There really is nothing bad to say about this sequel as it achieves what its supposed to achieve. THERE ARE 2 AFTER CREDIT SCENES.....THE FIRST ONE IS AWESOME. I grade CAPTAIN AMERICA: THE WINTER SOLDIER....B+
