ANOTHER POLICE AMBUSH IN KADUNA By Tukur Mamu DESERT HERALD - TopicsExpress

ANOTHER POLICE AMBUSH IN KADUNA By Tukur Mamu DESERT HERALD cannot say where is save and who is save in Nigeria today for in the late hours of Friday 25th October, 2013, a police checkpoint located at a Police Barrack at Unguwan Dosa in Kaduna, a very busy College Road armed men armed in full view of the public attack a police checkpoint, gun down three armed police men and escaped but unable to go with the police AK47 riffle. It was a total pandemonium and everybody is running helter-skelter for life. Even police men and military officers within the proximity of the scene were taking cover and running away for life. When DESERT HERALD visited the Kawo Police Station to speak with the DPO we were told that he was at Saint Gerald Hospital attending to his gun down police men. This incidence is one too many and is further telling us that the security agencies should stop pretending and deceiving helpless Nigerians that all is well because all is not well. Nobody is safe at home, on the highways, in the banking hall, in the market places, in police headquarters and these days even in cemetery when you are burying the death. The people of Nigeria including the security agencies have never had it so bad and yet Mr. GEJ wants to perpetuate in power because he has been doing well for a nation that has recorded unprecedented deaths that are clearly preventable if not for the ineptitude, insensitivity, greed and selfishness of the ruling elite.
