ANOTHER UPDATE: Last March, Salman, the one and only canine living at the junction of the 8th and 3rd street was joined by Goldy, a lovely black wonder who was picked up from the street by the guard (and named by him). We had a hard time with him because he stopped eating and drinking when we sent Salman to be sterilised a couple of weeks after he arrived. We spent more money putting him on drips than we did on Salmans sterilisation. A couple of weeks ago two young men came in an auto and dropped Snoopy off - black and white and very merry. It took a couple of days for him to adjust and he didnt eat or drink anything for those days. Now he has settled in and eats until he cant eat anymore. Today Snoopytoo was left tied to the gate that the other three live around. Ive named him Snoopytoo as he, like Snoopy is also black and white. Like Snoopy, he will need time to settle in. I think in the winter it is easier to explain how large they are. Snoopy wears a coat size 12 and Snoopytoo wears a size 18. Welcome Sweetheart. Welcome home.
