ANOTHER WAY TO GO FISHING... How many of you like to fish? (this is rhetorical). I could ask the same question about hunting, singing, playing a musical instrument or whatever. If you like to fish you are open to new ideas, locations, lures, methods and even different kinds of fish to add to your accomplishments. You will use various kinds of hooks, baits, lures, lines, methods, especially to catch fish when they are not biting, Most fishermen like to catch fish, lots of fish, rare fish, big fish, illusive fish, fighting fish, edible fish. If they are not being successful with one rig, they will try another. I like to drift fish, bottom fish, troll, cast, jig, dip net, drag net, throw net, and I will do whichever one that might work. (now here is my point). If you are a fisher of men, are you catching as many as you want to catch? Are you willing to try new ideas? Well, I have a new idea, which may or may not work, but if you are willing to try something new, then maybe you should try this one with a friend, a co-worker, a neighbor, a fellow sports parent or enthusiast, an acquaintance at the market, the garage, the park. I just made a 5 minute video on why we need the Bible plan of salvation. It points out Gods original plan for us, Adams sin (which jeopardized all of us), Gods steps to reconcile us and our responsibility to answer Gods call. Maybe you have a friend, with whom you want to share Christ. Invite them watch this 5 minute video (either alone or with you), with a follow up time to discuss it. The issue is not the quality of the video or the appeal of the speaker, but the meaning of the message and how it applies to your friends life. If you use it, be sure to watch it yourself and research the verses. Be ready to tell how Christ has changed your life, and be ready to answer their questions, and lead them in prayer.
