ANOTHER YOBE MASSACRE; GUN MEN KILL 50 IN COLLEGE OF AGRICULTREAGRICULTRE By Osuagwu Kingsley, Abuja Gunmen suspected to be members of Boko Haram have stormed the College of Agriculture in Yobe State killing up to 50 students who were asleep in the school dormitory. The gunmen who invaded the school located in Gujba, Yobe State, set fire to classrooms, says spokeman of the Joint Task Force (JTF) in the state, Lazarus Eli. Provost of the college, Molima Idi Mato revealed that the number of students who died in the early hours attack on Sunday could be as high as 50, adding that security forces were still recovering the bodies and that about 1,000 students had fled the campus. A military source noted that soldiers had collected 42 bodies. Gunmen stormed the College of Agriculture in Yobe state and shot students as they slept in the early hours of Sunday, says Yobe State Commissioner of Police, Sanusi Rufai. There are uncomfirmed casualty figures from the attack as an eye witness said two vanloads of bodies had been taken to a hospital in Damaturu, the state capital. Boko Haram seem to have intensified its bloodletting campaign after recently releasing a video showing its leader, a living and active Shekau, who security forces claimed to have died from injuries sustained in gun battle.
