ANTI-IMMIGRATION PROTESTS: Anti-Islam protesters under the banner of Patriotic Europeans Against the Islamisation of the Occident (PEGIDA) came out to rally against Germany’s immigration policy in cities nationwide on Momday. PEGIDA protesters were significantly outnumbered by thousands of counter-protesters, who rallied against Islamophobia and racism. This video shows a PEGIDA rally in Würzburg, in northern Bavaria, that reportedly attracted 300 protesters but was met with opposition by over 2,000 counter-protesters.
