ANUBIS GATE composing blog 3. The song with working title “From Afar” moved into version 9 with the addition of some half doomy/half typical Anubis Gate high gain guitars to the pink floyd section. It was just a bit to unnuanced. And perhaps a bit to ripoff-ish too. But all for the good of it since it sounds absolutely HUGE now. And unlike anything we have ever done. The start of the section was also remade in 4/4 and then it shifts almost unnoticably into 6/8. This change was done to ease the transition from the 15/8 (probably perceived as a 4/4+7/8 time) section that comes before it.
