ANY BODY POSSIBLY RELATED TO THE INVESTIGATION OF THE MISSING B772 - TopicsExpress

ANY BODY POSSIBLY RELATED TO THE INVESTIGATION OF THE MISSING B772 PLEASE READ AND PASS ON.. I am writing this in hopes of adding a perspective of the investigation that may have not been explored.. I was flying a Cessna 172 and had loss of electrical power which in theory and all actuality severed communication w/ ATC.. Considering the procedures for arrival w/ lost communications [ one has to descend to a low altitude so that visual contact can be established.. ATC will confirm visual contact via for the most part a light coming from the tower.. ] During our return back to the airport before our arrival we reestablished power and resumed communications w/ ATC.. Theory behind that could possibly be that they knew where or had an idea where the airport from which they DEP. was located.. However, I know from experience that during night flight navigation especially with no power to aid in navigation becomes extremely challenging.. The amount of fuel would have gotten them considerably far possibly.. If my memory serves me right I believe that region is very mountainous.. So if you are searching for an airport at a low altitude and you are at an altitude at which ATC can not pick up your location up then that is a perfect recipe for disaster. One must consider that GA (general aviation) aircraft are usually advise to fly at low altitudes to not clutter up radar scopes so that ATC can efficiently get commercial traffic safely through airspaces.. When I had a loss of electrical power I did not have a loss of engine.. See that is the difference.. you can still fly but you may not know where you are flying to because you have no power.. I have studied all kinds of mishaps through those Seconds from Disaster and Aircraft Accident Investigation videos and noticed that there are tons of accidents for extremely various reasons from the impossible to the most extremely stupid.. I feel passionate about this because when you dont have no parts anywhere and they were lost on radar all I can think about is that when you are at low altitudes and a low speed and you approach a mountainous region, one doesnt not have enough thrust to climb and avoid a mountain that is 90 degrees vertical in composition.. It has been well known that pilots can get disoriented as time passes when they are not knowing what is going on.. I am afraid that they either ran out of fuel at sea way further than their origin or the ran into terrain somewhere far as well.. Thank you! I pray that they have survived somewhere and will be found very soon!!!
