APC THE ANTIDOTE TO THE PDP VIRUS. About 16 years ago a deadly virus crept into the political landscape of Nigeria, this deadly virus was programmed to ravage Nigeria for 60 years and it prided itself as the biggest virus (political party) on the continent of Africa. The PDP virus with its very nauseating symptoms such as insecurity, corruption, misgovernance, impunity etc has dealt devastating blows to the common man, claiming the lives of countless Nigerians. This dangerous PDP virus peaked under the leadership of a man many have described as clueless, though not clueless in propagating lawlessness and unbridled corruption. He in fact he beams with smile when his lieutenants are out-doing themselves in the stealing galore, and he has told Nigerians that stealing is not corruption, so $20billion can vanish into thin air without him giving a DAMN. His cluelessness on how to end the deadly Boko Haram scourge seems very conspicuous, rather than act as the commander-in-chief of the Nigerian armed forces, he has condescended to a pitiable position of blamer-in-chief, always pointing fingers rather than take responsibility and lead the charge against the murderous boko haram sect. It is little wonder many believe he is stoking the boko haram scourge to decimate the voting strength of northern Nigeria so as to boost his electoral fortune. I share this line of thought myself, otherwise how on earth can some ragtag lilliputians continually make our highly respected Nigerian Army look like newly recruited boys brigade? Scampering into neighbouring countries and shamelessly telling the world its a tactical manoeuvre? Nigerians need a leader that can bring them out of this conundrum that the PDP virus has thrown us into. Thankfully, some concerned Nigerians took the initiative of employing a scientific method to get a remedy, an effective cure for the PDP virus. About 2 years ago, these eminent Nigerians went into the laboratory where they all laboured day and night brainstorming on how to produce an antidote for the PDP virus. The result of that painstaking research on the PDP virus led to the invention of a very potent antidote the All Progressives Congress APC, an antidote the PDP virus dreads with trepidation. The APCs entrance into the Nigerian political landscape was received with mixed feelings initially, with the PDP lying to Nigerians about the true nature of the APC. It had only boasted of being resistant to the APC, but had also predicted that the APC wont last more than 6 months, a claim that has been demystified by the APCs steady rise owing to its overwhelming acceptability by Nigerians who are fed up with the PDP misgovernance. The most active ingredient in the APC antidote is a tried, tested and proven personality, Gen Muhammadu Buhari. His mix with other great personalities in the party is what makes the All Progressives Congress most desired at a time the PDP scourge is tightening its grip on the jugular of Nigerians. If Nigerians are tired of seeing their mothers and fathers, sons and daughters, brothers and sisters sent to their early graves or turned into refugees in their own country, then they have the option of voting in the APC come 2015. The APC will not abdicate its primary responsibility to Nigerians, as the security of lives and properties would be given utmost attention under a Gen Muhammadu Buharis leadership. If Nigerians are sickened by the news of billions of dollars going missing without any concrete measures put in place to stem the tide, then the APC is the only credible alternative to the thieving PDP administration that shamelessly tells Nigerians that stealing is not corruption. The APC gives a DAMN that the wealth of a nation is senselessly frittered away by a few profligate fellows, who rob the unemployed, get them stampeded to death and the murderers are walking freely with security escorts paid for by the Nigerian tax payers. For a new Nigeria; for a better Nigeria; for a Nigeria we can all be proud of, the APC is the answer. Gen Muhammadu Buhari is the change agent weve all craved for, now we have an opportunity to play our part in birthing a new Nigeria where the prosperity of the people is guaranteed. where we can all go to bed with both eyes closed because we are sure that our lives and properties are secured. As i was writing this piece, i received an SMS from jos that theres been a bomb blast that has left scores of people dead. That is the kind of news we are daily being bombarded with under the PDP maladministration, it must STOP. May their souls rest in peace Amen.
