APC and G7 PDP Govs alliance - Facts and Hurdles. Beyond the facade of theatre and colour on display by both APC and G7 governors lie a few issues which are key to the political correctness of the bilateral engagements. 1. The G7 with or without other 5 imaginary PDP govs. will become majority and senior partner in the envisaged alliance. PDP having 7 or 12 Govs, ACN having 5 Govs, CPC 2 ANPP 3 APGA 2. Questions is : Will Tinubus ACN and the ANPP/CPC establishment be comfortable and truly willing to give the Presidency (that epitome of the rawest, most drunken, brazen, ghastly and absolute power in our nation) to the strange men from a party BAT once refeered to as unideological, clueless, hopeless, wastefull, destructive and conservative? 2. Will the G7 Govs, all, except one, 2nd and final term govs, inspite of their rich experience submit themselves to APC as members (for anything apart from the presidential ticket is mere membership) merely to fight and spite Jonathan where they were co drivers? Does this fly with you? 3. In the event of their joining APC, will G7 be allowed to absolutely and peacefully control, as they did in PDP, the apparatuses of APC in their states almost to the point of wilfully and singlehandedly pickng their successors, which is a time tested evidence of relevance and post retirement insurance against future happenstances? 4. In the 7 states where the President has at least a minister each and legion other fed appointees, will G7 govs. have capacity to commandeer all PDP membership to APC and will they have enof strenght and force to confront and subdue the new warlord/leadership emerging in the subsisting PDP? (Observe the Amaechi/Wike, Tukur/Nyako ongoing experience). If the answer is no, then what weight, respect and relevance will their presence in APC bring to them in the eyes of the coalition aborigines? 5. As deeply experienced, analytical and perceptive quasi members or surrogates of the Nigerian establishment who majorly founded and owned PDP, (look carefully at the 7 states, the quiet but big players and their history with PDP and Nig. power game), will the G7 ever deceive themselves that that their mentors and imperators wish to let go power to anybody, least of all a bitter, hypocritical, unequal opponents for a second? 6. What do you think will be the fallback position of the G7 governors in case the decamping works but the joint venture against the PDP fails in 2015 ? 7. If you are the almighty ACN whose legitimately elected state chapters chairmen in Delta 2006 -2009 and Adamawa 2007 - 2009 were core PDP agents surreptitiously inserted into your system and which cost you all the legal and electoral titanic battles for governorships, would you trust the current imroglio in PDP as irredeemable and close your eyes and jump into bed with these more experienced, more lethal and more dramatic G7 all carefully selected from key states where Presidential elections are lost and won? 8. If you are APC or a truly analytical politician or a keen Nigerian political historian, would you rely on this noisy romance or get carried away by what you see or what the media and commentators as well as naive hail mongers say? Am just asking?
