APC cautions PDP against creating anarchy in Osun font size Print Email 29.Oct.2014 | DISQUS_COMMENTS | Oluwole Ige -Osogbo THE All Progressives Congress (APC), Osun State chapter, on Tuesday, warned their counterpart in the Peoples DemocraticParty (PDP) against spreading falsehood, capable of causing anarchy through unfounded informationabout the election petition tribunal. It maintained that the PDP in the state was “gravitating towards creating anarchy in the community through a wickedly relentless propagationof lies, capable of destabilising the state.” In a statement endorsed by the APC’s director of publicity, research and strategy inOsun, Mr Kunle Oyatomi, the party affirmedthat “it is high time those chargedwith the responsibility to maintaining law and order in the state called the PDP to its senses andstop the party from stoking negative passions that could lead to anarchy.” Apparently reacting to an online post, which allegedly claimed that the PDP’s standard bearer in the August 9, 2014 governorship poll, Senator Iyiola Omisore, would soon be swornin as governor with the discovery of over 100,000 voided votes countedfor APC’s flag bearer, Governor Rauf Aregbesola, the party maintained that such development “was a close call to anarchy and a criminal action, which should be addressed by law- enforcement agencies in Osun.”
