APC criticises Anti gay law The All Progressive Congress, said Monday that it was “deeply concerned” by a law that “dangerously restricts freedom of assembly, association, and expression for all Nigerians.” The APC spokeman, also deplored the bill’s final approval. In a Twitter post, Lai Mohammed said that APC is “deeply troubled that Nigeria’s President signed anti-LGBT law,” and described the law as a “Big setback for human rights for Nigerians.” He called the legislation a “heinous law” and “an attempt to silence critics.” “In the context of Nigeria this is a populist move, perhaps designed to win votes ahead of next year’s election. But the president should know it comes with a cost: it destroys any pretense Goodluck may once have had to reputable international statesmanship,” Why am I even still talking about these hypocritical lying pricks? You sponsor a bill, all your members vote for it and has over 90 per cent support in the legislature and the president seeing the popularity and near unanimity of the legislature, has no choice than to sign it....and APC whose it was in the first place turns around to criticise the president! APC thinks Nigerians are stupid
