APC dumps Amaechi, picks Tinubu’s candidate, Prof Osibajo as running mate APC Presidential candidate General Mohammed Buhari has finally picked former attorney general of Lagos State, Professor Yemi Osibajo as his Running Mate for the 2015 General Elections. It was gathered that Buhari was compelled to pick the Tinubu associate after the National leader threatened to withdraw his support. Efforts to promote Amaechi, who has been sponsoring Buhari failed. Tinubu, it was learnt has committed to play a key role in sponsoring Buhari. Amaechi will play a key role in the campaign in exchange for an appointment as Secretary to the Government of the Federation should Buhari win.
