APGA: A PROGRESSIVE POLITICAL PARTY X-RAYED. APGA party as a movement belongs to the people of Nigeria. We through the party move towards electing progressives and more visionary men and women as leaders in our States. APGA politicians have been a rare breed in post independence Nigeria. This movement has sparked something of a revival in Igbo land. Through the party, we are electing plenty of progressives and visionary men/women to leadership position in Nigeria, by grace of God and through the support of every Nigerian, the party shall be the prevailing voice of peoples concerns and anxieties in the Nigeria of today and tomorrow. The party present outreach to the various regions in the nation signals the birth of politics of total commitment to the Nigeria of our time. Comparing the qualities which make up the type of leadership that APGA offers us through her incisive policies and governments, we cannot abandon candidates of such Straight-talking party for PDP candidates that can never tell us the truth nor consult us on sensitive issues. Therefore, it is the determination of our people to keep progressing with APGA, the only party that convinced us that we can progress as a people. With APGA there is no hidden political agenda, and no artificial mask. We are the responsible friends of all the people, the good neighbours in our nation and the helping hand which can rebuild the broken bridges that existed among the people of Nigeria. APGA men and women believe that our people’s future matter most, that is why the party always defend passionately the individual rights and freedoms of every Onye Igbo anywhere, we always ensure that governments of various regions take own decisions and to do so without jeopardizing the future of our people, hence the names “IGBO PARTY”, “NKE ANYI” etc are ascribed to this great party. We believe in the family as a source of stability and strength of every decent society hence will never owe workers and stress the family. APGA values, alongside economic prudence, the need constantly to enhance the quality of our peoples lives. We value the environment, unlike PDP leaders that condoned and encouraged environmental decay by building roads without drainage channels. We value the people and the communities, we believe in the communities which are why we handed down power to peoples’ individual wards and towns, and that natural sense of community leads us instinctively to provide care for those in our communities who really need it; unlike APC leaders that do not care about the suffering communities in their care. And we believe in our country, in our rights and freedom as Nigerians; that is why we will be rigorous in promoting and sustaining good schools and enabling parents to decide which is best for their children; and that is why we also want to see the provision of the highest quality of health care, and these then are the tenets of our progressivism. Consequently, Nigerians shall be taking a huge gamble in staking the future of our country’s legislature on leaders who can sponsor mindless vandalism of any kind of political sort, check out the various physical combats of both the PDP and APC legislators in the Senate, House of Peps and Various Assemblies of the states where they exist. Check the fence-climbing saga of the APC legislators, think of illegal impeachments sponsored by PDP legislators, check out the bloody fisticuffs at Rivers state recently; are outlaws qualified to be our law makers? No, they are not. A closer look at what APC and PDP stand for in Anambra state, in all the states and in Nigeria is nothing but typical examples of destructive retrogressive groups in search of anarchy in our nation and society. Yes they sponsor political brigandage and lawlessness in Nigeria, and surely such parties can never have the trust of Ndi Anambra on such issues that involves our future. There will never be men with those views, or with those energies and Ojukwu-like determinations in those parties except in APGA, hence the decision of our people to follow the Ojukwu legacy and vision no matter what happens. We should therefore ignore APC and PDP, and focus on the party that such great progressive and visionary leader as Odumegwu Ojukwu groomed and died in. Our people should and must denounce those insipid personalities in PDP-APC coteries in Nigeria; the of Nigeria should reject those people who are all striving to be in government for themselves, people who know not what our people want, and vote APGA again and again.
