APGA Convenes Sensitization Rally Grass Hoppers International Hand Ball Stadium Owerri recently witnessed an unprecedented crowd who were mainly the Political Juggernauts and Party loyalists of All People’s Grand Alliance; APGA from the South Eastern States to wines the 2015 sensitization rally. Addressing the mammoth crowd, the National Chairman of the Party, Chief Victor Ume urged Imolites to take their destiny in the their hands come 2015 and ensure that APGA candidate emerged as Governor of the State in the nest years’ election. He commended the turnout of people and assured those decamping from other Political Parties that the rally was all that was needed to sensitize the people on the need for the Party to emerge victorious in next years’ election. Meanwhile, the only APGA Governor in Nigeria, who is the Governor of Anambara State, Chief Willy Obiano expressed delight at the sea of heads at the rally and urged Imolites to ensure they worked hard to fill all the important positions in the State with APGA candidates come 2015. Earlier in his address, the State Chairman of the Party, Mr. Peter Eze Obi expressed strong hope that with the turnout of people to the rally, the Party is determined to win the election because the decamped persons from PDP, LABOUR Party, APC and UPP have now seen reasons to align with the Party. He explained that the aim of the sensitization rally was to prepare the minds of the members that they have to recover power for people of the State. In his speech, a Governorship aspirant under APGA, Capt. Emmanuel Iheanacho advised members of the Party to guide their votes jealously for only an experienced, visionary, focused, humble and respectful candidate, and thanked Imo people for identifying with the Party. Also in their separate speeches, Chief Okay Eze and Chief Okey Unegbu who are also vying for the Governorship position in Imo State under APGA noted that APGA is a pace setter in the history of Political Parties in Nigeria with track record of good governance. In his remark, a Senatorial aspirant of the Party who decamped from All Progressive Congress, APC, Mr. Clement Owunna expressed delight in coming over to APGA which he described as indigenous Party. Over 700 persons decamped from other Political Parties and joined APGA in the rally, including the National Chairman of Imo State Indigenous Town Union and president of all President Generals in Imo State, Chief Emeka Diwe
