APPEAL FOR HELP (URGENT) Hello Family and Friends Muhammed Sanneh (Pictured) is a 12 year old resident of Sanchaba from The Gambia. He is suffering from embryonal rhabdomyosarcoma disease. This is a life threatening cancerous tumor that develops in the bodys soft tissues, usually the muscles. It affects the head, neck, arms, legs or just about any body part. Cells from these tumors are often fast growing and can spread (metastasize) to other parts of the body. The treatment for this infection includes chemotherapy, surgery, and radiation and I very costly. According to his medical report from Royal Victoria Teaching Hospital (RVTP) this treatment is not available in The Gambia and the doctors have recommended that his family should take him abroad for further treatment immediately. A copy of his medical report is available upon request. An estimated cost of this treatment is around £5,000. The cost includes other expenses such as travel and accommodation etc. Unfortunately, Muhammad’s family is unable to pay for this treatment themselves. He is currently admitted at ASB Gambia Health Clinic in Dippa Kunda. He is in pain and his health condition is very critical. Please help Muhammad beat this disease so that he can return back to school just like other kids. His life is on your hands right now so please act now and don’t ignore him.
