APPLICATION BELOW Utility Assistance – Low-Income Self-Sufficiency Program Last year, in partnership with DTE, United Way launched the Low-Income Self-Sufficiency Program, which helps families who are at 150% of poverty level to enroll into a cost-sharing approach to managing their heating bills, offering them significant savings. United Way for Southeastern Michigan 660 Woodward Ave., Ste. 300 Detroit, MI 48226 (313) 226-9209 This year, we have been given the opportunity to enroll even more families, and need your support to get applications into the hands of the people who need help the most. We are interested in providing you with hard copies of the application for your office(s) for clients to take and complete (available online here: uwsemi.3cdn.net/8f354f4fd18a30572e_6zm6bf03y.pdf). We are also interested in having an LSP staff member attend community events and be available on site to promote the program and help individuals complete the application.
