APPLY BETWEEN FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 5, 2014 AND TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 30, 2014 usps/employment SEASONAL HIRING - CASUAL MAIL HANDLER ROCHESTER P&DC and NORTHWEST ROCHESTER P&DC The following is a brief description of what is expected OF A SEASONAL Casual Mail Handler: 1. This is a NON-CAREER SEASONAL position for the upcoming Holiday Season ONLY and is not expected to exceed a 60 DAY appointment. 2. Some positions will start in November, however, most positions are during the month of December. The ability to work 36 or more hours weekly during December is required. Starting times are mainly between 1:00 PM and Midnight. There may be limited number of day positions as well. 3. Applicants must be available at least 6 days per week/6 hours a day. Work hours are not guaranteed and are based on operation needs. Preference will be given to the applicants that can demonstrate the ability to work the dates and times needed. 4. Salary $12.00 per hour. No Benefits There will be a limited number of positions available at the Rochester P&DC, 1335 Jefferson Road, Rochester NY. Applicants will be eligible to be considered for both locations. SUITABILITY – If reached for consideration, you will be required to pass all pre-employment suitability factors including, but not limited to the following: Employment History background check; Military History; Criminal Conviction History; Drug Screening, Personal Interview and if selected, Medical Suitability.
