APPLY NOW FOR AGRICULTURE MEDIA WORKSHOP GRANT The ACM is inviting applications to attend a workshop on Inclusive Evidence-Based Coverage of Agricultural Research and Development Issues to be held in Guyana on October 4 and 5, 2013. Deadline for submission of applications is AUGUST 30, 2013. Selected journalists will be provided with air travel, accommodation and meals. They should have a background in covering food and agriculture issues and have at least two years experience in the media either full-time or as a freelancer in the print, broadcast or online media. There will also be an opportunity for some journalists to cover Caribbean Week of Agriculture activities from October 6-11. Please indicate whether you are also available to remain in Guyana over that period. Only five journalists will be selected for this activity. Journalists from the following countries are encouraged to apply: Bahamas, Barbados, Belize, Dominica, Dominican Republic, Haiti, Jamaica, St Kitts and Nevis, St Vincent and the Grenadines, Suriname and Trinidad & Tobago.
