***** APPRENTICE OPPORTUNITY ***** Authentic Locks are looking to recruit an apprentice to work between their online hair supply company and their new hair extension and hair replacement salon all based in LS6 Meanwood. (Training period may have to be in LS28) The position would ideally suit a school or college leaver looking to build a career in the hair industry. An NVQ Level 2 in hairdressing would be an advantage but not essential. The position will be 4 days a week which can be discussed around studies if needs be. Wage will be £3.10 per hour. Full training will be provided. Initial duties will include tipping hair, answering emails, taking bookings, stock taking, social media networking, styling, assisting and learning how to make wigs and wefts and fit extensions, checking and preparing orders, general duties round the salon, and answering telephone. Qualifications will be paid for by the company after completion of a successful probationary period. The individual we are looking for will be well presented, glamorous, hard working, motivated, reliable, and most of all patient and keen to learn. What we do contains highly skilled bespoke working methods that we will teach and help you to master, but this will require a person to have a real passion for hair.
