APRIL STATISTICS: 4/4 VBACS = 100% success rate. 15% C/Section rate this month: 1 fetal distress (Baby born within 7 minuntes of leaving labor room and moving for C/S: phenomenal!), 3 c/s for breech-all had nuchal cords---possibly the reason for the hang ups and stubborness despite position changes, acupuncture, chiropractic & the like!! Of the vaginal deliveries, 45% went natural and 55% had epidurals. Our c/s rate was uncharacteristically high, but again well below half of the c/s rate for Kentucky! Go midwifery! Side note: 50% circumcision rate.
