October 12 is a special month and red-letter day in our parish calendar, especially this year as we set our eyes on the finish line of our church construction project-the Convent- that will complete the house of God. Brothers and Sisters, come, let us rejoice in praise, worship and song as we celebrate the feast of our patroness, Our Lady of the Pillar, in a now fourteen million edifice which we helped build for eight years in painstaking effort and sacrifice. The theme of this year’s celebration is “BIRHEN MARIA, ATON HUWARAN SA PAGTUO: ANG BITUON NGA NAGA-UBAY SA BAG-O NGA EBANGHELISASYON.” Our Novena Masses will start October 3 up to 11, 2013 and will be held in our Parish Church as usual at six o’clock in the morning (6:00 A.M.). From October 2 to 10 at six o’clock in the evening (6:00 P.M.) the pilgrimage of the image of our patroness, Nuestra Señora del Pilar will be held at designated communities within our parish. As we have been doing in the past, we ask you and your family once again to take part in one of these novena masses as Sponsor or in the high mass on October 12 at nine O’clock (9:00 A.M.) as Benefactor. With your Love offering to Mama Mary, signify the intention you wish to be included in the scheduled Holy Mass you have chosen. Whatever proceeds we generate here will be used to defray expenses for the fiesta and for the Convent, our finish line for which we need a holy inspiration and unwavering faith to get there.
