ARCP السياسات الثقافية في المنطقة العربية is an open platform for individuals and organization working directly or indirectly towards positive change in cultural policies, either specific countries or in the Region. Artists, cultural managers, researchers , academics cultural activists and young students, also Organizations, groups, syndicates and unions are invited to upload their profile on this website to strongly connect to others working in the same field. Since 2009, the work on cultural policies has gradually became one of the main focus in the region, mainly through Al Mawred Ak Thaqafis programme Cultural Policies in the Arab Region, starting by mapping cultural policies in eight Arab countries, and developed through conferences, debates, researches, advocacy campaings and national working groups and many other forms and strategies towards the positive change on governmental level but also in the independent sector. Since 2011, with the revolutions in the region, it became clear that acquired knowledge and experiences are hugely needed towards cultural reform.
