ARE YOU A CHRISTIAN OR JUST A BELIEVER? (2) The converted but unbroken These are believers who are yet to become christians. They are commonly found in the church. Bible calls them the workers of iniquity. They once gave their lives to Jesus but keep looking back. They exhibit the following: - They are still attracted to the things of the world - They appear holy but deceitful as they are stylishly worldly - They are selfish - They are stubborn - They are manipulative - They exploit others & use them to accomplish their own goals - They are in fear that Gods will would interfere or hinder their own selfish interest - They give so as to receive in return. They dont give to those who will not give back to them - They always want to be known for what they give & do - They love praise & honour of men - They doubt everyone except themselves - They input evil motives to heart of others - They always see evil in any good thing done by another person - They are moved by what they see, hear & feel - They hide all that is kept in their care - They justify their faults & failures - They are afraid to point out the failure of people for fear of losing a place in their hearts - They are hurt & wounded by honest criticism - They insist upon their own lies - They take revenge - They are hurt when others are well spoken of - They are hurt when others are promoted - They rejoice at the failure of others - They resist being commanded but enjoy commanding others - They flatter people in order to get favour from them - They will participate in a project only if the honour will come to them - They cant stand being in Gods presence for a long time so they pray short prayers - They are surprised that you expect them to be faithful & disappointed when you dont take them serious - They always doubt God at his words - They are not interested in studying the bible, they only read daily devotionals - They dont like churches where holiness within & without is being preached - They patronise fake prophets - They are in the church to trade with their talents & gifts - Praise & worship section of church services is not important to them - They collect N20 to buy a thing sold for N5 - They pay mercenaries money to write exams for them & keep praying to God for success - They pay officials of higher institutions money to get admission - They are bent on looking for shortcuts outside Gods will yet they go to church - They use fake measurement in market places despite praying to God for enlargement And lots more. The time to change is now for there will be surprises on the judgement day.
