ARE YOU A JOHN CHRISTIAN (HAPPY) OR A PETER (UNHAPPY) - TopicsExpress

ARE YOU A JOHN CHRISTIAN (HAPPY) OR A PETER (UNHAPPY) CHRISTIAN?... This is Peter who boasted for His love for God when he said to Jesus.. Even if all this leave you I will never leave you, I will go to prison with you and am ready to die for you. #On that night, Peter denied knowing Jesus 3 times. He went out and cried in guilt and shame. The younger one is John. He is the disciple whom Jesus loved. #Now notice that this phrase appears only in the gospel of John... In other words, he knew and believed and was confident that Jesus loved him. #THE RESULTS.. - He was closest to God, - He was the ONLY one of the twelve who was at Jesus feet during his crucifixion. - He was there when Jesus needed him most. #You can choose to be either Peter... a Christian who boasts of His love for God and end up walking a strife filled Christianity with a feeling of a guilt and shame, plus be less intimate with Jesus. The unhappy Christian. OR #You can choose to be like John (The happy Christian) who knew and believed that Jesus loved Him and boasted not for his love for God, but Gods love for him and end up living a stress free, intimate, guiltless and shameless christianity. #You dont have to do anything to please God. He is already fully pleased with you and His love for you has never been stronger. This is because Jesus took all your sins past present and future at the cross so God sees you as the most righteous one on earth. Not a single speck of sin is in you because you are in Christ. #So do not be a Peter christian but be a John Christian. - Simon Peters name means one who listens as if to obey the rock/ depicting the 10 commandments. - Johns name means Grace #Blessed Sunday folks! #Churchtime! #CHURCHBOY
