ARE YOU A WALKING ZOMBI? Pedestrians are becoming zombi-like as they stare into their cell phones while crossing the street only to be hit by cars or have near misses. An estimated 1,500 were treated in U.S. emergency rooms in 2010 as a result, a new study finds. Put the cell phone down while crossing the street, then, you can resume your usage as you bump into people while walking or simple stop in the middle of wherever you are to create a sidewalk traffic jam.
