ARE YOU BETTER OFF THAN YOU WERE FOUR YEARS AGO? Obama has asked this question over the last several weeks as he stumps for Democrats before this Novembers elections. This line of questioning worked well for Reagan in 1980 after the dismal malaise of Carters administration and then when he won re-election in 1984 during the economys rebound. Many times when citizens look for answers to their economic hardship situations, the Democrats are ready to place blame on Republicans in Congress. The GOP has introduced many legislative options to help the American family secure good paying jobs and bring home larger pay checks. Many of these bills lay hostage on Harry Reids desk.
