ARE YOU STAGNANT? “So Joshua said to the Israelites: “How long will you wait before you begin to take possession of the land that the Lord, the God of your fathers, has given you?” Joshua 18:3. Life is too dynamic for anyone to operate in stagnancy. According to geographers, this planet of ours called ‘earth’ constantly changes its position every 365 years and constantly rotates every 24 hour for us to have seasons as well as day and night respectively. It does mean nature itself hates stagnation. Redundancy is a sign of death and God’s absence. Whoever is stagnant has lost touch of God. If I may ask, why are people stagnant or why do they get stuck en-route destiny? Answers are not far-fetched. It is either they are lazy or knowledge-deficient, it could also be as a result of complacency, spiritual bondage, curse among others. Whatever be the case, no reason is good enough to justify stagnation. A stagnant man will groan, later will begin to shrink, after shrinking death. In growth and progress lies happiness and fulfillment. Where are you on the radar of life? If you do not know whether you are progressing or not, observe your contemporaries, classmates, those with whom you started life together? The reason you are not fulfilled and happy is stagnation. For instance, in an inflationary economy such as ours, the only way to maintain and increase your life’s quality is to increase your revenue base. If all you hope to earn this year is the same as you earned last year, your life’s quality will decrease. Work harder, prayerfully strategize to increase your knowledge, contact and earning power. Find out what must be done. Find out how to move, where to go, who to speak to and the requirement needed for your next level. Above all, take relevant steps, do not just keep planning. Allow your evaluation and your investigation to lead you to actualization. Remember, those who are stagnant never enjoy life. Receive unction to move forward in Jesus’ name. Every chain of stagnation in your life is hereby broken in Jesus’ name. God bless you! Have a fruitful day!
