AREGBE TALKS TOUGH as OMOLUABI GARMENT FACTORY kicks off in Osogbo Following the purported announcement sponsored by EJIWE people denouncing the land on which the factory is cited as being part of OSOGBOLAND, Ogbeni Aregbesola, shed more lights though with some facts left unrevealed. As a peace loving community that believe in the saying: ONI YANGI MA BA TEMI JE EPO NI MO RU,(He who lives in a glass house should not throw stone,….. imagine what could happen),we challenge these blindfolded people to come out with their evidence to prove their claim…………… never will they come up with any as they have never produced one since they started the challenge on the boundary issue. Absolutely they have none, “Abuja ko si ni orun ope” there is no shortcut on the Palm Tree). This baseless claim of theirs started when the State Secretariat was moved from the Old Governor’s Office, Ogo-Oluwa Osogbo to the new Secretariat, Oke Pupa Osogbo. They tried it then but they failed, they tried it again they recorded another failure. Even when their OLUOMO was the Governor of the state, he disappointed them by telling them the truth that the land belongs to OSOGBO. As if OYINLOLA tenure would be another chance for them to avert the judgments; when their son, ADEJARE was the speaker of the state House of Assembly, he confirmed the same story Adeleke told them. Some of them know the truth, yet vast majority of them especially the youth hate hearing the truth. The bitter truth of it for them is to fulfill the doctrine of their Ancestral Tittles, I guess you know them…….. ”IWA OMO O KI N FI OMO S’ILE”. They have failed several times; their failure frequency is equal to the number of times the issue has been brought to court of law, yet they wish they could avert the court rulings by means of violence. At least the educated elites among them should try to explain to those visionless and hopeless hooligans the verdicts they have been served with during those court rulings if not that they want to, by all means, disrupt the peace, love and harmony which the most peaceful town, OSOGBO OROKI ASALA is known for. More so, they should cushion their agents at the State Broadcasting Corporation (OSBC), especially that KAO, who is Oga @the top in the Current Affairs Department who, through his office at the department, promotes enemity, violence by instigating and throwing doubt into the established fact through misleading information that is capable of causing crisis all in the name of protecting the non-existing interest of his people at the expense of the state’s growing peace. The peace Osogbo is ever known for is now being played with by the people of edeland following their hooligan, nuisance and uncultured behavior displayed at the official commissioning of the said OMOLUABI GARMAENT FACTORY in Osogbo. We understand that the protest impregnated some political calculations; we therefore express our sincere appreciation to the Governor of the people Ogbeni Aregbesola who, despite the uncultured manner of approach employed by these people, and amidst high level of humiliation, frustration and intimidation, displayed high level of maturity while addressing the issue. This, we believe, is a planned attempt to frustrate Ogbeni’s Administration. However, it is important to stress it here point blank that the site of OMOLUABI GARMENT FACTORY and up till Eleesin stream after Nigerian Police Zone XI is our common boundary with enough historical and legal evidences. These, we believe, are facts known even to their ogas @the Top. OSOGBO PEOPLE are peace lovers, we therefore call on the government of Ogbeni Omoluabi Number 1, Aregbesola to, once again, call for clarity on this issue, cite the initial common boundary before emphasizing on the so called State Capital Territory which is of less important to us, and make an everlasting solution to this boundary issue to avoid future occurrence of this menace. This, we believe, will go a long way in preventing the perceived crisis if we are to behave like them. We also like to implore Mr. Governor to call on the management of OSBC to desist from all malicious activities of them especially on the matters affecting Osogbo, the town accommodating them. They should, at least, try to reciprocate the kind gesture Osogbo community has accorded them since the beginning of their operation in Ita Akogun till date. Need we ask them of how many mishaps have been recorded so far during the course of their duties? It is absolutely none. We pray for their well being, we accommodate them with adequate sincerity and humility, we treat them the way we treat our brothers and sisters yet they find it difficult to reciprocate the kind gesture only for them to deprive and deny us of our belongings, hmmmm, E RO RA OOO (To be forewarned is to be fore-harmed) We are not in any way interested in encroaching any community’s belongings; we have our legal evidences authenticating us as the landlord of these disputed areas.
