ARMM will be assisting a number of farming communities venture into halal and organic food business as part of the livelihood support component of its ARMM HELPS project. ACES Polytechnic College, which runs a pioneering and successful organic farm in Panabo City, will provide the technical expertise in the development of the products that will be marketed under the brand ARMMSarap. ARMM Gov. Mujiv Hataman, Dr. Francisco Dela Peña, Jr., president and CEO of ACES Polytechnic College, and Ibrahim Ballaho, barangay chairman of Barangay Balas, Lamitan City, where the project will be piloted, signed a memorandum of agreement today, 27 September, in Cotabato City to spell out the collaboration among the parties involved.
