ARMM’s DOST Sec. Myra Alih and Education Sec. Jamar Kulayan turned over today, June 20, a “library in a box” or Science and Technology Academic and Research-Based Openly Operated Kiosk Station (STARBOOKS) to the ARMM Regional Science High School in Parang, Maguindanao. STARBOOKS is a stand-alone research kiosk that allows students to do in-depth research of science and technology resources even without internet connection. Other schools in the region are also set to receive STARBOOKS kiosks this year. (Bureau of Public Information)
