ARMY JAWAN DONATES BLOOD IN SDH BHADERWAH MOHD ILYAS BUTT BHADERWAH, MARCH 10. On 10th March 2014, a physician from New Sub Divisional Hospital, Dandi requested to Rashtriya Rifles located at Bhaderwah for an urgent requirement of blood group (AB ve) for Master Ravindra Kumar of 25 years, son of Mr Bharm Raj, resident of Malothi, Bhaderwah, who was in critical medical situation. On hearing the request a Jawan of Rashtriya Rifles, Bhaderwah stepped forward and agreed to donate blood. In a lifesaving act, the jawan in Army Ambulance alongwith medical detachment immediately moved to New Sub Divisional Hospital, Dandi. Blood was successfully transfused to the young man who was having very less haemoglobin court. After donating blood, Mr Bharm Raj and his family thanked the jawan and remarked, “We shall always remain indebted to Army”. The medical staff of hospital also appreciated the quick action taken by the Army in saving the life of the ailing man.
