ARRESTED #1: Benjamin Keegan (W/M 02/06/88) 323 Chamberlain Hl Higganum, CT Charges: 53a-172 – Failure to Appear 1st 53a-173 – Failure to Appear 2nd (x6) BOND: $85,000 cash/surety COURT DATE: 06/24/2014 During the evening hours of June 23, 2014 members of the Troop D Quality of Life Task Force (QLTF) in conjunction with the Killingly resident troopers, troopers from Troop “D” Danielson barracks and detectives from the Eastern District Major Crime Squad located Benjamin Keegan who was known to have seven active FTA warrants for his arrest. Keegan was located by police personnel after surveillance was conducted and multiple areas were searched in the Troop D area based on credible intelligence sources provided by the QLTF. At approximately 9:20 PM Keegan was taken into custody without incident when he was found hiding in an apartment located at a residence at Prospect Ave in Danielson. Keegan is wanted for questioning on other crimes that have occurred recently in and around the Danielson area. Keegan was placed under arrest without incident and processed at the Danielson Barracks and charged with Failure to Appear 1st and Failure to Appear 2nd (6 counts). Keegan was held on a total of $85,000 dollar cash/surety bonds and will appear in Danielson Superior Court on June 24, 2014 for the aforementioned charges.
