ARSENE WENGER SAYS MANNCHESTER UNITED DECLINE NOT SIR ALEX FERGUSONS FAULT Arsene Wenger has leapt to the defence of old adversary Sir Alex Ferguson, saying that the Scot is not to blame for Manchester Uniteds decline. After draw with Burnley on Saturday afternoon, the Red Devils now have two points from a possible nine and have been criticised for their performances, but the Arsenal coach has suggested that their fortunes will change. He told The Mirror: If things have not gone well at the start, it is not Fergusons fault. The world is competitive and it is a bit cyclical. Once you leave a club, you hope it goes as well as possible. That is what Ferguson wanted as well. Manchester United have just started the season and it will come back. If you look at the names they have, they will be a force in the Premier League. But I dont worry too much about them, They made us suffer enough in the past! GREAT COMMENT FROM WENGER
