ARSON RULED IN SATURDAY FIRE A dispute between a mother and her 14-year old daughter, resulted in an arson fire Saturday night at the Fort Cumberland homes. A female juvenile used a cigarette lighter and paper to start the fire, and she has been charged with first degree arson, malicious burning and reckless endangerment. If convicted on all charges, the maximum penalties include 40 years in prison and/or $60,000 in fines. She was taken to a Department of Juvenile Services facility in Rockville, following her arrest.
