ART ON HALIFAX© Art on Halifax is part of the Refinery’s celebrations of not just our summer and art but celebrates all that is on offer in our area. The Refinery is hosting an arts market on Sundays in our sculpture garden and this is a great opportunity for artist to present their works in a relaxed vibrant and colourful atmosphere, fun for the family and a great afternoon out. The market will operate every Sunday from November to the last Sunday in April. As the Refinery comes under the Kahurangi Employment Trust a not-for profit organisation the market will charge a fee for the space utilised. All fees and donations (tax deductable) will go back into the development of the Refinery and its future projects. We are looking for committed artists willing to be involved with this venture and help be a part of the future of Nelson’s vision and showcase our art and culture.
