ART ON WATER - ARTSTAMP.DK The 22nd to 24th of August are the launch dates of the Danish and German championship in OK-dinghy. This time a brand new dinghy will be introduced by Sam Jedig. The deck of the new OK-dinghy is covered by a collage of Artstamps, all published through the last couple of years. The dinghy project is driven by an ambition to explore how human and countries creates links and network around the world. Water and sailing are two important sources to bind people. Artstamps also binds people together through communication, sharing and passion. The new OK-dinghy is a combination of the two symbols of networking: Water and art. The OK-dinghy is also a response as well as a tribute to the Modern Art Scene “Conceptual Art” that since the sixties have questioned the relationship between art and reality. The Open Championship in OK-dinghy will take place the 22 -24 of August in Flensborg, Germany, under the slogan “Crossing borders”. To this event the Danish Sailing Federation and the OK-dinghy club invites 100 participants from six different nations.
