ARTICLE: SECULARISM AND PSEDO-SECULARISM -modassir imam ...my father often use to say "the creators are the primary destroyers." in these days it seems to be true. By the indian constistitution point of view SECULARISM is the freedom of religion, there is neutral role for all religion, there is no parciality for any religion and all followers of any religion are free to follow their own religion. PSEDO-SECULARISM refers to the false secularism, it means the truth which is covered with the lies or we can say that LAMINATED TRUTH. SECULARISM is commonly used by the corrupt leaders of India. Few days ago a famous leader from BJP alleged CONGRESS that it pretends to be SECULAR in "BURKHA OF SECULARISM." In reply of this a leader from congress said it is better to be a PSEDO-SECULAR than to be a naked. These are only the hot words of the cold war between two parties of india. The majority population is of Hindus beside this Muslisms, Christians and Sikh are the minority popolation of india on the basis of religion. India is a country of unity in diversity and the unity is maintained by this word SECULAR. Government is elected by the people , of the people and for the people. British ruled over 200 years by using single policy of divide and rule. Here is the same situation created by the corrupt leaders by using divide and rule by using parciality among the hindus, muslims, christians and sikhs which is against the policy of SECULARISM, and actualy it is not parciality it is PSEDO-SECULARISM. To get political benefits, most of the indian political parties adopted the policy of PSEDO-SECULARISM wheather it is in the form of constructions of Ram Mandir or in the form of reservation for the minorities in the shadow of upliftment. I think the theoritical part of our constitution is SECULARISM and the practical part is PSEDO-SECULARISM. The representatives of our country make the law themselves and break it ownselves. Thus, the saying of my father is true "the creators are the primary destroyers." Jai hind and Jai bharat !!!!
